Alex Kentsis, MD, PhD, decided to study rhabdoid tumors because they remain one of the most lethal childhood cancers. Most children with a rhabdoid tumor that cannot be removed through surgery do not have effective treatment options. Read more


Seven-year-old Zoe was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in September of 2010. She completed treatment in December of 2012, showing her family that she is a fighter. Her mom Jennifer says that staying positive helped her and Zoe get through treatment. Read more
