The Cancer Legal Resource Center provides information and educational outreach on cancer-related legal issues to people with cancer and others who are impacted by the disease. The Center is a joint program of Loyola Law School and the Western Law Center for Disability Rights. The Center provides outreach to cancer support groups, cancer survivors and care givers. Foundation for Children with Cancer, a program of Reach Our Children, provides financial assistance to pediatric cancer patients and their families, helping to ease the burden of non-medical related expenses like mortgages, utilities, and travel. Payment is made directly to a particular company/service provider; checks are not written directly to a family. Applications may be obtained through a family's social worker. Eligibility requirements: Patient must have a social security number; diagnosis must be on or before 18th birthday; There is a monetary limit per year per family; patients/families are eligible for funds throughout treatment.

This is the Foundation in the memory, but it is also the Foundation in the name of life. This is the Foundation in the name of those who are in need for our help. Our organisation helps the Infant Oncological Hematology Ward of Odessa Infant Clinical Hospital, Ukraine. More than 5,000 Ukrainians 15 and younger suffer from oncological diseases today. About 3,000 are receiving treatment. Medical establishments are mainly funded from charities in our country, because state funds are insufficient.

The Patient Financial Aid program of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society provides supplementary financial assistance to patients in significant financial need. Reimbursement requests, up to a maximum of $500 per year, are processed through your local chapter and payments are issued directly to you. LRF's Patient Aid Grant Program provides reimbursement grants of up to $500 to be used within six months from the award date for patients who are in need of financial assistance for quality of life expenses which are accumulated during their treatment for lymphoma. The grant covers expenses such as childcare, travel-related costs incurred while obtaining treatment, medical aids and devices, educational and support meetings or camps and cosmetic aids (wigs, scarves, etc.) and treatment related hygienic products that are not covered by insurance.
