Media Contacts

The media can help raise awareness of childhood cancer by sharing the compelling and inspirational stories of childhood cancer patients, families, survivors and health care professionals in the United States and North America.

CureSearch can provide you with information and contacts on a wide range of topics, including the following:

  • Arranging interviews with childhood cancer experts who are members of the Children’s Oncology Group (COG), the research partner of CureSearch. COG physicians and researchers specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of all types of childhood cancer, including very rare tumors. COG nurses and social workers provide a unique view of the childhood cancer experience and its effect on the child, family and community.
  • Introducing you to childhood cancer patients and families who have compelling stories to tell of their experiences with childhood cancer.
  • Introducing you to families who have lost children to cancer and want to share their stories of loss, strength and inspiration with others.
  • Facilitating an introduction to childhood cancer survivors who have a very personal perspective on the childhood cancer experience.
  • Providing you with information and contacts for special events occurring in your state and local community.
