CureSearch for Children's Cancer funds and supportstargeted and innovative children's cancer research with measurableresults, and is the authoritative source of information and resourcesfor all those affected by children's cancer.
At CureSearch for Children's Cancer, we know that many families affected by children's cancer often want to contribute and raise funds to help fight this devastating disease. You may also be looking for a meaningful way to involve friends and family who want to help. CureSearch is pleased to provide you with a simple way to honor your child, create a legacy, and raise money for children's cancer research through friends, family members, neighbors, colleagues, foundations and/or corporations.
A legacy fund is a much easier alternative to establishing your own foundation, which requires filing with the IRS and meeting the stipulations every 501(c)3 complies with. A legacy fund at CureSearch not only provides this infrastructure, we also offer expertise on the best way to realize the impact you wish to have in the medical community based on our 25 years of experience working with a national network of care providers, researchers, and scientific leaders in the oncology field.
With a minimum donation of $25,000 or a commitment to raise this amount within twelve months, CureSearch will establish a legacy fund for your loved one. Your legacy fund will have a designated webpage where you can share your child's personal story, allow others to donate to your cause, and share research progress. Money raised through your child's legacy fund can be directed to a purpose that fits within CureSearch's current research agenda.
Some people need support meeting the $25,000 minimum to establish a fund. A CureSearch team member can help you find the fundraising program that works for you. Other legacy fund donors host golf outings, sell t-shirts, or use their business or personal hobby to find unique ways to raise awareness about children's cancer research.
You are also encouraged to host a team at your local CureSearch Walk. The money your team raises supports your legacy fund. To find a CureSearch Walk near you, go to www.curesearchwalk.org.
