As we enter the month of September, CureSearch for Children's Cancer invites you to join us for Childhood Cancer Awareness Month as we introduce Campaign 36 which honors the 36 children diagnosed with cancer every day, as well as all of the children and families whose lives are, or have been, touched by childhood cancer.
Throughout the month, visit our special Childhood Cancer Awareness Month section of the website, where we feature a different child each day, share facts and figures about children's cancer, and highlight activities across the country in which you can participate.
For example, this month alone, CureSearch will host more than 30 CureSearch Walks in communities across the country. Designed not only to bring past and present patients, families, neighbors and caregivers together, the Walks also raise funds for children's cancer research taking place at local hospitals. It's not too late to participate in a Walk near you – visit www.curesearchwalk.org today to learn more!
Are you an avid social media user? Join us on Facebook, Pinterest and Twitter this month as we use these media outlets to spread the word about children's cancer and the need for ongoing research to one day guarantee a cure for all children. We'll offer photo shares, highlight children impacted by cancer, share resources and keep you up-to-date with our month-long fundraising activities and successes.
At CureSearch, we raise funds because we know that only research can cure cancer. As you participate in Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, help us not only spread the word about children's cancer, but also raise money to continue funding the physicians and researchers across the country who work tirelessly each and every day to make treatment possible and a cure probable. Visit Campaign 36 and make a $36 donation in honor of the 36 children diagnosed with cancer today, and every day.
