As we enter the month of September, CureSearch for Children's Cancer invites you to join us for Childhood Cancer Awareness Month as we introduce Campaign 36 which honors the 36 children diagnosed with cancer every day, as well as all of the children and families whose lives are, or have been, touched by childhood cancer. CureSearch for Children's Cancer has announced the appointment of a Scientific Advisory Council, led by children's cancer expert Joe Simone, MD, to develop and guide its scientific strategy and subsequent funding of children's cancer research. The appointment of the Council comes at a time when CureSearch is expanding its research funding beyond clinical trials. Read more

Sarina was 3 ½-years-old when she was diagnosed with Stage 4 B Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Before diagnosis, Sarina was a normal, active child. Her parents became concerned when a tumor the size of a golf ball grew out of her neck. They began the journey to remission, reaching their destination when Sarina was 6 ½. Read more

CureSearch is pleased to announce the recipients of this year's Association of Pediatric Hematology/ Oncology Nurses (APHON) scholarships! These 50 nurses were selected through a competitive process and will each receive a $500 scholarship to attend the 36th Annual APHON Conference in Pittsburg, PA this October. Read more
