Seattle CureSearch Walk Kicks off Fall Walk Season
Walkers raise $20,000 for children's cancer

CureSearch WalkThe 2nd annual Seattle CureSearch Walk kicked off the 2013 Fall Walk Season with a bang, raising $20,000 to help fund children's cancer research. The 1.5 mile Walk was the perfect tribute to the 36 children who are diagnosed with cancer every day. 100 participants celebrated their success on Saturday, August 3 at Magnuson Park. The 10 survivors in attendance were honored during the opening ceremony with medals, while those who did not survive were remembered for their courage and strength during a balloon release ceremony and moment of silence.
