Share your passion to end children’s cancer by creating your own personal fundraising campaign and website. The event is yours to choose: celebrate a birthday or anniversary; take part in a marathon or other athletic challenge; honor a loved one; memorialize an important person in your life; participate in children’s cancer awareness month; or just celebrate the fact that it is Friday. The options for an event are endless. The goal is the same—raising money to conquer children’s cancer.
CureSearch offers two options for personalized online fundraising campaigns:
The process for creating your online campaign is basically the same for each. Choose either the Team CureSearch or CureSearch Personal Fundraising Campaign link and then:
- Enter your name and contact information
- Choose the name of your event
- Share the reason you are fighting children’s cancer
- Set a fundraising goal
You will then have access to your own fundraising web page that you can personalize with photos and other information. When you are happy with the site, you can promote your effort among friends, family and co-workers using email, Facebook and Twitter. They can read what you are doing, learn why you care so much about curing children’s cancer and get updates on your progress. Those who are moved by your passion will be able to quickly and easily make a donation to CureSearch. You will be able to see who has donated to your campaign and watch as you progress to your goal. CureSearch will process all gifts and formally acknowledge anyone who donates to your cause.
The money you raise will support CureSearch for Children’s Cancer’s general mission to fund lifesaving, collaborative research and to provide resources for patients and families. CureSearch retains the right to determine how the funds are used.
