CureSearch for Children's Cancer is excited to expand the CureSearch Walk program to 30 new markets in 2012! Coupled with already established events in cities from Honolulu to Boston, there will be 90 CureSearch Walks across the country this year.
The CureSearch Walks celebrate, honor, and remember all those whose lives have been affected by children's cancer including patients, families, clinicians, and volunteers. At each event, we take a special moment to remember and honor those who have lost their fight through a balloon release, and celebrate the CureSearch Champions who are in treatment or are survivors by calling them to the stage and placing medals around their necks. It is these individuals who represent The Reasons We Walk.
Participation is easy! Simply register at www.curesearchwalk.org, recruit your friends and family to join you, and start raising funds to support children's cancer research! Funds raised at CureSearch Walk events support Children's Oncology Group clinical trials conducted at hospitals in your community!
