There were 42 children cancer “Champions” at the event who were dubbed “Cancer Fighting Cuties” by many of the moms present. TV Personality Kent Derricott emceed the event and walked with participants through the beautiful Liberty Park in downtown Salt Lake City. Kids were entertained by face painters, airbrush tattoos, princesses, local team mascots, clowns and balloon artists. Walk manager Kelli Very noted that it may have been a “record number of entertainers,” and “the kids were able to do a lot.”
