The inaugural Long Island CureSearch Walk took place on Saturday, June 11 at Bethpage State Park. Over 200 walkers from 13 teams came out to support pediatric cancer research and raise $39,775 at the Inaugural Long Island CureSearch Walk - Conquering Children’s Cancer Together.
In terms of entertainment, DJ Zach Feldman of Z Radio Live got the morning started with toe taping tunes, Kimbo the Clown painted faces and Quackerjack got everyone ready for the walk with warm up exercises. Carol Silva of News 12 Long Island emceed the event and walkers enjoyed at two mile walk through Bethpage State Park.
