February 26, 2010 (Dallas, TX) - The monthly Mission Awareness Day was held at St. Pius X School. The students collected money to donate to CureSearch (National Childhood Cancer Foundation) and JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation). The students brought in $720.41, divided into $360.21 to give to each organization to help more than 40,000 young people who are undergoing the treatment of cancer and to help provide critical funding for diabetes research for the millions of people with diabetes. The school received a kind thank you note from each foundation thanking us for our work and donation to help others.
