More than 800 participants raised more than $100,000 to benefit Hope Street Kids’ Pediatric Grants and Fellowships Program at the 10th Annual Caroline Pryce Walker Memorial Event August 15 at the Columbus (OH) Zoo and Aquarium.
Special guests included Hope Street Kids Co-Founders, former Congresswoman Deborah Pryce (OH) and Randy Walker; and Honorary Chairman Mike Eiland, ClearChannel Radio – Columbus. The Mistress of Ceremonies was Ellie Merritt, NBC4 News Anchor. Childhood cancer patients, survivors and their families, staff from Nationwide Children’s Hospital, Adventures for Wish Kids and Kids N Kamp, joined the special guests.
Performances featured the Riverside Rats and DJ Garry Parks, food served barbecue-style by Bob Evans Farms, a wild private viewing of the gibbons and orangutans.
The proceeds from the event support Hope Street Kids' Pediatric Grants and Fellowships Program.
