Playing fore their Future

CureSearch for Children's Cancer is excited to announce our partnership with the American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) and the Nicklaus Children's Health Care Foundation.

Playing Fore their Future is a program that began in March 2012 and is part of the AJGA's current Leadership Links Initiative which teaches young men and women charitable giving skills and service-oriented practices at an early age.  The program is open to junior golfers of the AJGA, who will sponsor a child currently fighting cancer in their region and gives them a platform to raise funds for children's cancer research.  Portions of the proceeds will benefit CureSearch for Children's Cancer.

The campaign culminates on November 18, 2012 at the AJGA's Rolex Junior All-American Banquet at PGA National Resort & Spa in Palm Beach Gardens, where the top 10 fundraisers will be awarded for their fundraising efforts. The top 8 fundraisers will be presented an award by Jack Nicklaus at a private Board and VIP reception prior to the banquet.

Just one month after its inception, the program has already registered 95 juniors and has raised more than $31,000.  We look forward to a prosperous partnership and would like to thank the American Junior Golf Association along with the Nicklaus Children's Health Care Foundation.
